The objects we insist on

  • A charter in English: owner, steward, numerator, denominator, window, exclusions.
  • A freeze log with dates, not vibes.
  • An exception list that is public inside the company.
  • A review room with minutes that name dissent.
  • A kill list for tiles that duplicate the charter.

What governance is not

It is not a north-star workshop. It is not a BI implementation. It is not OKR coaching. Those may be useful elsewhere. Here, we care whether a product organisation can audit a KPI the way finance audits a recognised revenue line — with less ceremony, same seriousness.
